Briarcliff Subdivision Reconstruction – Kannapolis

AWCK worked with the City of Kannapolis to reconstruct the neighborhood streets with the Briarcliff Subdivision. This subdivision was originally constructed in the 1960’s with curb and gutter with very little or no storm drainage.  The streets were subject to flooding during most storm events. This project included the reclamation and repaving of 16,000 square yard of subdivision streets, the replacement of 2 large drainage structures, and the installation of 4,200 linear feet of storm drainage piping to eliminate flooding.  AWCK provided design, bidding, contract administration and inspection on this project.
