Alley, Williams, Carmen and King’s Architectural Department has provided Architectural services to clients throughout North Carolina since 1960.  AWCK is able to provide comprehensive architectural planning and design services for both public and private work.  Our in-house staff of architects and designers is complemented by a highly qualified set of engineering consultants providing structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, communications, fire alarm and fire protection system design.

Municipal Architecture

AWCK’s Architecture’s core service is municipal and local governmental work.  Projects designed by our firm include schools (K-12 and higher education), town halls, municipal office buildings, fire stations, police stations, public parks, recreation centers, libraries and public works facilities.  We also provide design services for the private sector, and provide pre-design and post-design services, including master planning, existing facilities analysis and code compliance review, contractor pre-qualification and selection, construction administration and building inspection.
