ARMC Heart and Vascular Center Parking Lot

ARMC recently completed a renovation and expansion of its Heart and Vascular Center, with AWCK contracted to develop the site plan, implement parking improvements, and install a waterline to support the expansion. The plan was designed by Mark Reich, PE, and the construction was carried out by Brasfield and Gorrie.

This project required extensive coordination among multiple stakeholders and numerous adjustments to successfully execute the parking and storm drainage improvements. Several utility lines had to be rerouted to accommodate the new parking lot structure. Given ARMC’s already limited parking capacity relative to patient volume, concerns arose about the potential loss of parking spaces both during construction and as a result of the proposed improvements.
