22063A – Village of Alamance – NC 62 Sidewalk Improvements

Sealed bids for Sidewalk Improvements will be received by the Village of Alamance until 2PM, Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 at the office of the Engineer, 740 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

The work will include the following items:

Work consists of sidewalk and C&G in various locations along NC 62. This includes correcting slopes at driveways, addressing trip hazards, and replacing narrow and damaged sidewalk sections.

Plans and specifications are on file for inspection at Village of Alamance Town Hall and at the office of the Engineer in Burlington, North Carolina. Blank forms of Proposal, with Specifications and Plans, shall be obtained from Alley, Williams, Carmen & King, Inc. upon request.

Consideration will be given only to bids of Contractors who submit evidence that they are licensed under “An Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting”, ratified by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina on March 10, 1925, and as subsequently amended, when such Act is applicable.

An optional pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10AM, Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. Questions to be submitted before, 10 days prior, to bid opening.

No bid bond will be required for this project.

No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. By order of the City Council of Village of Alamance, North Carolina.
