Hawfields Educational Complex

Hawfields Educational Complex is a 2-in-1 school, housing Audrey Garrett Elementary School (K-5) and Hawfields Middle School (6-8) in the same structure.  The 230,000 square foot facility includes classroom and resource space for 1,500 students (800 middle school and 700 elementary), a cafeteria area with 2 serving lines and 2 dining areas, separated by operable walls, 2 gymnasiums (each with built-in stages), a combination media center, 2 office areas, and ancillary support spaces.  Savings realized due to the construction of two schools in combination allowed the construction of larger classrooms and the provision of more technology than was typical for schools in this system.
