Alley, Williams, Carmen, and King, Inc. is looking for Surveyors in our Burlington, NC office and Kannapolis, NC offices. AWCK has been working in the Piedmont of NC for over 60 years and offers a positive learning environment for Surveyors of all ages while also providing high levels of proficiency in a wide range of traditional surveying/civil engineering fields. We’re growing in our municipal and private market and looking for Surveyors to grow with us.

The Survey Technician will be involved with all duties of a survey crew member as directed by the Professional Land Surveyor and will include operating a calculator for field computations, operation of all survey equipment including levels, GPS equipment, data collectors, and total stations. Work may include construction stakeout, location surveys, boundary survey, ALTA/ASCM surveys, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, subdivision layout, parcel and subdivision mapping, wetland delineation location and mapping, site plans, right of way surveys, legal descriptions, Flood Elevation Certificate surveys, and mortgage loan surveys. Survey Technicians will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions and will be required to perform strenuous duties such as cutting brush and vegetation to accommodate surveying.

Qualified candidates will have surveying experience and/or be willing to learn new skills, work outdoors, and have good communication skills. Experience preferred, but not necessary. The ability to work immediately in the United States is also required. Alley, Williams, Carmen, and King is an EOE, M/F/D/V.
